For several years now Thornton Parish Council has had a programme of litter picking throughout the parish and beyond. Using basic equipment to carry out the work they have set about looking after the community on the first Saturday of the month.
We are delighted to announce that Barratt and David Wilson Homes has made a significant financial donation for the purchase of new and additional equipment. They will be in attendance on Saturday 2nd November at 9:00am at The Crescent to hand over a cheque for the sum of £646.85. Members of the Parish Council will be there to receive the cheque and carry out this month’s litter pick.
Welcome everyone to assist in this month’s litter pick and use the new equipment that we are very grateful to Barratt and David Wilson Homes for their kind donation to Thornton Parish Council.
