PlayFootball Liverpool
PlayFootball Liverpool runs coaching camps during the school holidays for children of any ability aged between 4yrs-12yrs.
The summer camp will run every weekday for four weeks, starting August 1 and ending August 26.
The camp will run from 10am to 3pm each day and costs £10 a day per child or £40 for the week. There is the option of an early drop off for £3 extra.

St. Josephs Hospice Association
Charity which runs a 25 bed hospice in Thornton. Also support projects in Latin America. The hospice provides nurse-led care for long and short-term patients who are terminally ill or who have long-term degenerative conditions. It is heavily dependent on voluntary fund-raising to sustain its services. The Thornton site includes a conference facility, widely-used by Sefton organisations.

Thornton Children’s Centre
Sefton Children’s Centres provide a range of activities for families with children under five years of age. Services offered include child & family health care, such as antenatal and postnatal care, in a relaxed and friendly environment.
Most centres run babies health clubs, activities such as baby massage or yoga and also offer access to specialist services such as speech and language therapy, or help for children with additional needs. There are various play opportunities for families to enjoy together, for example, arts & crafts, song and rhymetime, toy library and outdoor fun.
Parents seeking work or training can access specialist advice and support. We’re also here to provide information, advice and support on family and parenting issues – anything from postnatal depression to sleep routines, toddler tantrums or domestic violence.

St. William of York -Sth Sefton Before & After School Club (B/AS)
This is a Breakfast & Afterschool Club for pupils attending St. William of York Primary.
St William of York School can provide wrap around care for those parents who need it between 7.45am and 6pm. The school Breakfast Club is free to all children who attend school and SSABC provide after school care from 3.15pm to 6pm.

Crosby & District Historical Society
The aims of the Crosby and District Historical Society are to promote the advancement of the education of the community by developing public interest in all aspects of local history of the district of Crosby and surrounding areas. The Society was founded in 1945 and meets on the fourth Monday of each month from September to May, except for December (first Monday). Meetings are held in the Methodist Church Hall in Moor Lane starting at 7.30 and the annual subscription is £13.
