Sefton is the latest area to be reviewed as part of a wider review of the whole Liverpool City Region bus network, with the aim of creating an improved and simpler network.
It’s also about ensuring that the increasingly limited funding we have for supported services – those services that are funded by Merseytravel as they are not commercially viable – are used in the most effective way and focused where there is most need.
People who live or work in Sefton will be able to comment on proposed changes to the area’s bus network during a final consultation period starting on Monday 16th January through until Thursday 26th January.
