Two new memorials have been recently installed at the Stocks and Sundial at the top of Water Street. They commemorate those who lived in Thornton and who lost their lives in the Great War and Second World War and during the COVID pandemic. We will have the opportunity to remember these people at the Annual Remembrance Service.
